Strawberry Center to Hire Additional Staff

The Strawberry Center will add two new staff positions in the near future: a research entomologist and a farm manager.

Graduate Student Successfully Defends Thesis on Gray Mold Fungicide Resistance

Graduate student Scott Cosseboom successfully defended his thesis “Characterization of Botrytis cinerea resistance to fungicides in California strawberries” in 2018.

Director Gerald Holmes Hosts Current Issues Seminar

For the third consecutive year, Strawberry Center Director Gerald Holmes will offer AEPS 470: Current Issues in the Strawberry Industry. The two-unit course gives Cal Poly students an opportunity to learn from experts in the California strawberry industry.
