Food Safety Training Offered by the California Strawberry Commission
The Cal Poly Strawberry Center hosted Joy Jacobs, director of grower education at the California Strawberry Commission, for a food safety training. The training occurred just as Strawberry Center fields began producing the first fruit of the 2018 season.
It’s important that all students and staff strictly adhere to food safety standards in the industry and that students are thoroughly trained in all aspects of safety. Thank you to Joy Jacobs and the Strawberry Commission for their award-winning Food Safety Training Program.
