What We’re Looking For


BioSafe Systems is seeking a Field Research Coordinator based in Central California to lead field, greenhouse, and product research and development efforts related to crop protection in agricultural and horticultural crops. This role requires extensive travel throughout California, Arizona, Washington, and Oregon during the growing season to manage field research trials and collaborate with private and university researchers. The ideal candidate will have a strong research background, experience working with sales reps, and the ability to interpret and communicate research findings to internal and external stakeholders.

What You Would Be Doing


Research, Development & Implementation – Design, conduct, and oversee field, greenhouse, and laboratory research projects.
Collaboration – Work closely with research partners to implement study protocols.
Project Management – Set up and monitor research trials, ensuring timely updates to the sales team.
Data Analysis & Reporting – Analyze research results and summarize findings for internal teams, distributors, and customers.
Travel & Field Work – Visit field research sites, oversee trial progress, and report findings.
Technical Support & Training – Assist sales teams by providing technical resources, training, and guidance on product applications.
Regulatory Assistance – Support regulatory efforts with technical input on product labeling and compliance.
Industry Representation – Attend and present research findings at professional conferences, academic, extension and grower meetings.
Highly Qualified Candidates Will Have


M.S. in Agriculture (with emphasis on field research and/or product development related to plant disease and insect control)
Ph.D. preferred if accompanied by practical field experience.
Extensive field trial experience with private and university researchers.
General field knowledge about agricultural and horticultural crop production, diseases and pests and their management
Experience working with sales teams to conduct training and technical meetings.
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights.
Willingness to travel extensively within California, Arizona, Washington, and Oregon.
