Colin Koubek wins 3-minute thesis oral presentation competition

Colin Koubek and Taylor Hibino represented the Strawberry Center as graduate students in Cal Poly's "3-minute Thesis" oral presentation competition. Both did very well and Colin won 1st place ($500) out of 17 contestants for his presentation on "Shedding Light on Strawberry Pest Control: UV-C as a Management Strategy for Spider Mites". Congratulations to Colin and Taylor for competing and Colin for taking first place!
